Salvador Dali was/is one of the most well known artist of not only his time, but our time. Dali brought the "Art World" an extreme new taste with his thoughts and imagination. Everything that he put on canvas brought unexplained emotions, thoughts, etc. He worked in more than one media; oils, watercolors, drawings, graphics, sculptures, films, photographs, performance pieces, jewels, and objects of all descriptions. Dali was not really limited to a particular style or media (early impressionist paintings through his transitional surrealist works). His full name was 'Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dali y Domenecin.' Born in Spain, and later moved to the United States. Most artists/people know Dali as a high painter and surrealist artist. Some funny/interesting facts that caught my eye; whenever Dali signed autographs for his fans he would keep their pens. Also, Salvador has more than 1500 paintings to his credit and illustrations, lithographs and designs!...
